1. What is learned centered instruction?
It is based on the learner and learning process, it’s necessary teacher creates a good atmosphere in the classroom in order to get the learning goals, he needs to use the better learning strategies and do a permanent evaluation to know their progress.
2. What is the main role of the teacher in LCI?
Teacher should be an instructor or facilitator moreover he should lead students in their tasks because teacher needs to foster and encourages students to be responsible in their tasks and permit to create their own knowledge.
3. Explain the 4 key principles of student centered learning
a) Learning is personalized. It is important to create a good atmosphere where teacher and student have the best relationship.
b) Learning is competency-based. Teacher needs to know their students in order to permit them to develop the knowledge in their own pace in each subject but he have to respond to individual needs, interest and challenges.
c) Learning happens anytime, anywhere. Knowledge is learned in every moment of the life for this reason students not only learns inside the classroom.
d) Student takes ownership. The success depends of each student, for this reason it is important to lead them in order to get meaningful knowledge.
