4. Answer these questions and share your ideas according to what you have read about Learner Centered Instruction:

        a. What is learner centered instruction (LCI)?

Learner centered instruction motivates students to take responsibilities for their own learning, and helps them, to be actively involved with confidence en their ability to learn and use the language correctly.

        b. What is the main role of the teacher in LCI? 

Teachers create an adequate environment for motivating students to take their own responsibilities, using multiple techniques, tools and resources, designing activities in which them interact with the material, their classmates, teacher and others incorporating real world situations for achieving significant learning.

         c. Explain the 4 key principles of student centered learning.

             The 4 key principles of student centered learning are the following:

Learning is personalized, the teacher customizes learning experiences, he/she plans the classes based on students' necessities and interests, they develop deep connections to each other trying achieve significant learning.

Learning is competency, learners move ahead based on their ability to demonstrate that they have reached along path to achieve competencies. Further, each student must be provided with the scaffolding to keep progressing at a pace appropriate to reaching their knowledge.

Learning happens anytime and anywhere, students have  equitable opportunities can learn  outside school, the teacher motivates them continue learning and provide good sources of information for this purpose.
