Learner centered instruction is important for the EFL curriculum because it lets students work actively, students can work in groups to share information, and students have the possibility to master their competences by practicing at their own necessity. Also, the role of the teacher is to be a facilitator, so teachers have to help students discover new things.
The four keys principal are personalize education, competence-based learning, learning happens anywhere anytime, students are the owners of their learning process.
We can involve students in the learning process by asking them to choose the project´s purpose, and choosing what activities should be graded and which ones not. The advantages of learner centered instruction are that students can learn in their own rhythm, and students can learn cooperatively with the others in class.
